Look how much has happened.
The calendar is counted.
The other wonders are what-ifs.
Make the what-ifs your own Change the assumptions
These scenarios apply one rate to your whole lifetime. Real rates vary, especially in childhood. These are illustrations, not health measurements.
Space comparisons use NASA’s mean orbital figures and a 29.5-day lunar phase cycle. They are approximate conversions.
Birthdays don’t get to have all the fun.
Round numbers.
Real dates for your calendar.
The big moments already behind you
Day milestones follow the calendar. Clock milestones use your chosen timezone and birth time, or midnight if blank. They ignore leap seconds.

See your life differently
Read your exact age, explore calendar curiosities and what-if statistics, then find your next little milestone.
Make something worth keeping
Choose a poster design, pick its numbers and save a PNG. Every image includes made with floi.dev.
Using the age calculator
The tool opens with a labelled example for 1 January 2000. Enter your own birthday to replace it.
Start with a date of birth
When were you born? takes your full birth date. See my story confirms it, while valid edits also update the result.
Try an example restores the fictional birthday. Clear in the file bar removes your current birth details, name and result. It keeps your poster appearance settings.
| Time & date options | What it changes |
|---|---|
| Birth time | Refines elapsed hours, minutes and seconds. Leave blank to assume midnight. It does not change calendar birthdays. |
| Calculate age on | Today, ticking live follows the clock. A date I choose reveals Calculation date and makes a midnight snapshot. |
| Timezone for times | Use your device’s current timezone or UTC for both birth time and the snapshot. A birthplace timezone is not inferred. |
| 29 February birthdays | Choose 28 February or 1 March in non-leap years. Calendar age and countdown use the same rule. |
Read your age in days, hours and seconds
Your time on Earth shows calendar years, months and leftover days. The six totals show completed months, full weeks, calendar days and elapsed clock units.
Next birthday shows a calendar-day countdown and your progress through the current birthday year. On the birthday itself, it says Happy birthday.
The calendar
Count Mondays, Saturdays that begin a weekend, leap days and Friday the 13ths. Counts exclude your birth date and include the calculation date.
Everyday wonders
Explore hypothetical heartbeats, breaths and hours asleep. Make the what-ifs your own lets you set each rate.
A little cosmic
Convert the same elapsed time into Earth orbits, lunar phase cycles, Mars years, Jupiter years and an approximate orbital distance.
Everything shows all twelve perspectives. Choose a category to narrow the cards, then open How we count on any card for its formula or assumption.
Find your next reason to celebrate
Little milestones lists upcoming numerical anniversaries in date order. These include your next birthday, round day counts and clock milestones.
The big moments already behind you opens past 10,000-day, 20,000-day and billion-second moments when applicable. Day milestones follow date boundaries; clock milestones follow the selected timezone and assumed or supplied birth time.
Make a professional life-in-numbers image
Make a poster opens a live preview and the design settings. Poster design and the visual gallery choose the same template.
| Control | Effect |
|---|---|
| A name or title | Add up to 40 characters. Long text shrinks to fit; very long wide glyphs may end with an ellipsis. |
| The big number | Give days, years or seconds the headline position. The exact calendar age remains underneath. |
| Numbers to include | Keep every statistic or pair time totals with calendar, everyday or space highlights. |
| Include the birth date | Add the date and weekday explicitly. Off by default. Exact ages and a snapshot date can still reveal a birth date. |
| Image shape | Portrait is 1080 × 1350, Square is 1080 × 1080 and Story is 1080 × 1920 pixels at standard resolution. |
| Image resolution | Double makes every dimension twice as large. Story then becomes 2160 × 3840 pixels. |
Sunday edition uses warm paper and serif type. Other designs include a minimalist layout, an indie zine, botanical notes, a cosmic sky, a blueprint and an itemised receipt. The layout changes with the design.
All images include a snapshot date, the clock assumptions and made with floi.dev. Estimates keep their approximation marks and explanations in the exported image.
Copy, save or send
Save PNG in the file bar makes the finished image. A live result becomes a fixed snapshot at the moment you save.
Copy summary copies the age and all statistics with their assumptions. Open in passes the image to another tool. Share offers the supported device, app and clipboard routes. Narrow, Wide or Full at the top right gives the studio more room.

What it will not do
This calculator does not predict lifespan, measure biological age, reconstruct medical history or check legal eligibility. It uses the Gregorian calendar, with years from 1600 to 2200.
It cannot recover an unknown birth time or birthplace timezone. Clock totals follow your chosen timezone’s daylight-saving rules and ignore leap seconds. A skipped local time is refused; a repeated local time uses its first occurrence.
Your birthday, name and generated image remain in this tab. Only the five appearance preferences save automatically, locally when signed out or privately to your account when signed in.
Frequently asked questions
How many days old am I?
Enter your date of birth. Calendar days appears beside your age and counts date boundaries from your birthday to the calculation date. The birthday itself starts at day zero. Hours, minutes and seconds use elapsed clock time, so a daylight-saving change can make them differ from calendar days multiplied by 24.
Can I calculate my age in minutes and seconds?
Yes. The six totals include months, weeks, calendar days, hours, minutes and seconds. Today, ticking live updates clock totals each second. Add a Birth time for a closer estimate. Without one, the tool assumes midnight. It cannot recover an unknown birth time or count leap seconds.
Can I calculate age on a future or past date?
Open Time & date options. Change Calculate age on to A date I choose, then enter a Calculation date. The snapshot uses midnight at the start of that date. It must be on or after your birth date and time. Years from 1600 to 2200 are supported.
What happens with a 29 February birthday?
Choose 28 February or 1 March for non-leap years in Time & date options. Both calendar age and birthday countdown follow that choice. In leap years, the birthday is 29 February. This is a calculation convention, not advice about a country’s legal age rules.
Are the heartbeat, sleep and space statistics accurate?
They are illustrations. Heartbeats, breaths and sleep apply your chosen constant rate to the whole elapsed span. Real rates change throughout life. Space comparisons use NASA’s mean orbital periods and speed, plus a 29.5-day average lunar phase cycle. They do not measure your body, your actual travel or the full moons you have seen.
Can I save a birthday card or age poster?
Yes. Open Make a poster and choose one of 10 designs. Set a name, the big number, the included statistics, image shape and resolution. Save PNG creates the image in your browser. The standard width is 1080 pixels; Double is 2160 pixels. Every export includes made with floi.dev.
Does floi save my date of birth?
This tool keeps your birth date, birth time, calculation date, name and what-if rates in this tab. They do not enter account drafts or analytics events. Only poster appearance preferences save, locally when signed out or privately to your account when signed in. Generated images stay in memory until you save or send them. See the privacy page for the site’s separate analytics services.
