See page breaks as you type. Click wording in the preview to open its section. On a phone, Preview switches between your editor and document.
Duplicate your resume before tailoring it. Each version keeps its own wording and design. Use the version menu to return to your original. Preview zoom lets you inspect small text without changing the exported file.
Open Personal details and choose Add photo. Choose a PNG, JPEG or WebP up to 10 MB and below 40 megapixels. Your photo is cropped to a circle in the header. Replace or remove it before downloading.
The photo stays in memory in this tab. It is never uploaded, saved to your account or included in a draft backup. PDF includes the photo. Word and plain text do not. Add the photo again after reopening the page.
Keep your target role specific. Add a reliable contact method, then describe relevant work with one achievement per line.
In each section, use the add button to include another role, qualification or project. Rename a section heading or use the arrow buttons to change reading order. Removing an entry, section or version is reversible with Undo.
Browse 31 templates in Design. Choose a simple column, a supporting sidebar, paired columns or section-label rows. The gallery shows each layout before you apply it. Use the Modern collection filter for softer colours and more expressive designs.
| Control in Design | What changes |
|---|---|
| Modern collection | 15 designs with soft headers, rounded labels, monograms and asymmetric columns. Forma and Muse keep one column. Atelier puts your projects first. |
| One column | Studio, Classic, Editorial and Compact keep a simple reading sequence. |
| Rows and timelines | Executive and Scholar put section labels beside the content. Ledger uses a date rail. Linework uses shaded section rows. |
| Sidebars | Axis and Beacon have left sidebars. Atlas and Metro have right sidebars. Beacon uses a dark rail; Metro has a shaded rail and full-width header. |
| Two columns | Horizon uses a wider main column. Column and Split use balanced columns. Portfolio puts projects in the main column and supporting experience alongside. |

| Text size / Spacing | 10 to 12 point body text, with comfortable or compact leading. Shorten less relevant text before making it smaller. |
In a multi-column template, each section has a Column menu. Choose Automatic, Main column or Supporting column. Reordering changes the order within that column. Skills appear in the supporting column.
Choose a one-column template for the simplest parsing order. Multiple columns can be harder for some application systems to read.
Review flags missing contact details, incomplete email addresses, reversed year-only dates and long or vague bullets. Select a suggestion to open the relevant section.
Paste a job description to see common terms beside your resume. Add exact phrases in Terms to check, separated by commas. The comparison checks wording, not qualifications or meaning. It does not predict an employer’s ranking or insert claims for you.
Readable text shows your content in section order. A multi-column PDF may be read differently by different applications. Read every name, date and claim aloud before sending it.
Download PDF keeps the paginated preview’s layout. For an editable copy, open Keep an editable copy in Review and choose Word.
